This blog is for people who live in the real world.

That’s it, really.

Yep, if you live in the real world then you’ll probably want to be reading this.

Just so we’re clear – in the real world people eat yummy food, socialise, raise children, go on holidays, buy clothes, pamper themselves, maintain relationships, buy cars, renovate houses, … ummm … they ride bikes and walk dogs … oh – they do the food shopping and wash clothes and dishes (OK, stopping here, getting boring).

So if you do one, or a number of the things above, then you probably live in my definition of a real world.

In the real world there is usually very little spare time.   There is also a pressing sense that things are perhaps not as they should be, coupled with a niggling feeling that we could be doing/buying/eating better.

Usually lack of time + growing awareness of the need for change = very little action.

One of the easiest ways to turn this unease into action would be to purchase things that align with our desire to live healthy and sustainable lives.

In ever-increasing numbers Australians are making purchasing decisions that reflect their growing sense of awareness around issues of health and sustainability.

But how do we ever really know what we are buying?  Who can we believe?  How can our consumer based society take positive action when making purchasing decisions?  Our blog will discuss and uncover ways in which we can live better, buy better and feel better – in the real world.

P.S. You’ll hear us talking a lot about ‘blue living’– not ‘green living’.  There’s a big difference. Green puts the environment at the centre of the conversation, but blue puts YOU there.  We all live in the real world and that means we don’t want to give up the things we love.  At brands4tomorrow we absolutely believe that our lives will be enhanced in this move towards balance and sustainability.  We don’t do guilt trips or unrealistic eco ideals – we just picked up the brush and started painting blue!
